Intellectual Property Strategies

Course Purpose
The purpose of this course is for students to acquire fundamental knowledge concerning intellectual property through lectures covering a variety of common concrete examples; to obtain information about the qualification systems for intellectual property, like those for patent attorneys and certified specialists in intellectual property management; and to learn the fundamental rules (research ethics) for their studies and research.
Learning Goals
Students will acquire a systematic understanding of the entire intellectual property system; acquire an understanding of each field of intellectual property, the rules for intellectual property in research activities (research ethics), and the practical use of intellectual property in corporate activities; and obtain information about the qualification systems for intellectual property.
