Course Purpose
The purpose of this course is to obtain knowledge on the basic concepts of astronomy and understand the role of physics in astronomy.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to understand the basic characteristics of astronomical phenomena and explain astrophysical phenomena in terms of physics such as mechanics, electromagnetism, and quantum mechanics.
