Course Purpose
The Intensive English Summer School in “Communicating with Confidence and Impact” is a learner-centered, confidence building, interactive course focusing on the practicalities of public speaking, interview techniques and communication skills. Drawing on drama techniques, students are trained in how to use their voices effectively and how to use posture and body language to build personal presence and communicate with confidence and impact.
Learning Goals
This is an intensive English training course designed to go beyond the confines of the weekly classes held throughout the semester for students. As such students are expected to immerse themselves fully within the total English environment that will be created throughout the duration of the Summer School.
