Cognitive Information Processing

Course Purpose
The purpose of "Cognitive Information Processing" is to provide an overview of intelligent information processing inspired by brain function, by understanding the higer-level-functions of the brain, the biological characteristics of a neuron, the fundamental components of the brain, and cognitive science. Students will organize the knowledge of information engineering and life sciences, necessary to understand this research field and consider new cognitive information processing methods.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to understand the basic contents of neuroscience and soft computing methods, such as the biological characteristics of the neuron, cognitive science, and ANN.
